Terms of Service

These Terms explain the conditions for using LiveIndex and the rights and responsibilities of users and the operator.

Service termsEffective date: 2026-09-08
01

Purpose

These Terms govern the conditions for using the live-stream discovery service provided by LiveIndex (the “Service”), as well as the rights and responsibilities of the operator and users.

02

Service Description

LiveIndex collects and organizes publicly available broadcast information from external platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, CHZZK, SOOP, and Kick. The Service may display broadcast titles, thumbnails, channel names, viewer counts, and other information, and provide links to the original broadcasts. Available platforms and features may change.

03

External Platforms and YouTube

LiveIndex operates independently of external platforms and is not an official service of those platforms unless otherwise stated. Rights and responsibilities relating to broadcast content remain with the respective rights holders and platforms. LiveIndex uses YouTube API Services. By using LiveIndex, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

When users watch broadcasts or use features on external platforms, the terms of service and privacy policies of those platforms may apply.

04

Information Accuracy and Service Changes

Broadcast status, viewer counts, titles, and other information may differ from the actual information on external platforms due to update timing or the information provided by those platforms. The operator may modify or temporarily suspend features to maintain stable operation of the Service.

05

User Responsibilities

Users must comply with applicable law and must not use the Service in a manner that interferes with its normal operation or infringes the rights of others.

06

Intellectual Property

Rights to LiveIndex’s original designs, code, and other content belong to their respective rights holders. Rights to broadcast information, thumbnails, and content provided by external platforms remain with their respective rights holders.

07

Liability and Contact

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator may limit liability for issues arising from external platform outages, ended broadcasts, or changes to external content. This provision does not exclude any user rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
